Square Online

Ever since Square acquired Weebly in April, 2018, we've been patiently for them to release their new ecommerce platform. Our patience has finally been rewarded as they released the new Square Online to the public on March 27th, 2019. And just a few days later, we've added Square to the list of ecommerce platforms that we track on Store Leads. It's still far too early to draw any conclusions about the success of the new platform.

Introducing Technologies

Shortly after Store Leads was launched, we added the ability to see the Shopify apps installed on each store. Based on your feedback, that's one of the features that you find most useful. But many of you want to track additional third-party technologies, not just the apps installed from the App Store. As a result, we've adding third-party technology tracking to Store Leads. To filter stores by technology, simply use the Technology filter on the Domain page.

Lists Filter in Search

If you've started to use our new List feature, which allows you to save stores to lists, then you'll be happy to learn that lists are now integrated with search. This allows you to search within a list, which can be really helpful if you've created a large list and want to find a store within it. Or maybe you just want to do more fine-grained segmentation within a list.

Saved Searches

It's not uncommon to run the same search more than once. Maybe you've segmented stores in the perfect way and you want to revisit the results. In the past, you could bookmark the search results and re-run the search any time you want. While that worked, it wasn't as easy as it could have been. Especially if you've got a number of searches that you want to track. To improve things, we've added a feature called Saved Search which, as the name implies, allows you to save searches.

Shopify Theme Change Log

We're now tracking theme changes for Shopify merchants. Looking at the history of theme changes for a merchant can be useful in a number of scenarios. A merchant with a rich theme change history is indicative of an active merchant, rather than a passive dropshipping business. The change log also helps theme vendors find merchants that have converted from competitors, or vice versa. To see the theme change log, simply click on the "

Customizable Columns

As we've added more detail for each store, our UI has become more and more crowded. When screen space is at a premium, it's important to use that space to best effect. So we do our best to make sure that the most important data is visible without scrolling. But everyone has different needs and one size does not fit all. As a result, you can now reorder the columns in the store list.

Introducing Notes

Sometimes you want to write down some details for a store. In the past, you would do this outside Store Leads, in a spreadsheet, or on paper or maybe a CRM. To make things easier for you, we're adding lightweight CRM features and we're starting with Notes. To add a note, just open any store and click on the Notes tab. Store notes. Once written, notes can be edited and deleted.

Favorites

There are so many great ecommerce stores these days, it can be hard to keep track of them all. To help you remember the ones you like, we're adding Favorites to Store Leads. It's pretty simple. When you're looking at a store, just click the Add To Favorites button. Add To Favorites. At some point, you'll want to see a list of all stores that you have favorited.

Advanced Filtering by Text Queries

It's always been possible to search for stores using text queries through our Basic Search features. This worked in simple use cases but it wasn't possible to run complex searches based on text. To fix this, we've added text queries to Advanced Search. As an example, let's say you want to identify all stores focused on women's fashion. You can start by running a Basic Search with the query "

Filtering Stores by Rank

We've just added the ability to filter stores by rank to Advanced Search. Whether you want to filter out small stores (so that search results only include the highest ranked stores) or vice versa, this is another tool to help you segment results to meet your needs. As an example, let's run a search that returns only the top 100 stores by rank. Start by switching to Advanced Search (click on the Advanced Search link in the Filters section).
