What data is available for stores?
The following attributes are available for stores, depending on the e-commerce platform used by the store. See below for a full definition of each attribute.
The DNS domain of the store (e.g., www.fashionnova.com).
The name of the merchant that is selling on the Domain (e.g., "Fashion Nova").
The name of the e-commerce platform that powers the domain. (e.g., "Shopify")
The name of the e-commerce platform's pricing plan that the merchant is using if known. (e.g., "Shopify Plus") For Shopify, we are only able to identify Shopify Plus stores.
The state of the Domain. Can be one of the following values:
- Password Protected
The "world-wide" rank of the Domain (across all supported e-commerce platforms). How rank is calculated.
The rank of the Domain against all other Domains on the same e-commerce platform. How rank is calculated.
The store's country of operation. Some stores do not declare a country or are not country-specific (ie. they sell to multiple countries) and these stores do not have a country.
The geographic location of the store (if known). This value is often the city/state of the associated merchant's headquarters.
List of alternate DNS domain names that refer to this store. Aliases are identified as other DNS domain names that point to the store through canonical links or redirects.
The number of people working at the company that runs the store. This attribute is only known for a small subset of stores.
The language of content on the store's website.
The date at which the store was created. It is hard to know exactly when a store was created so this represents our best guess. For stores created after July 2018, the creation date is based on when we first discovered the stores, which tends to be very close to the actual creation date. For stores created before July 2018, we use a heuristic that includes historic DNS and WHOIS data, which provides a reasonable approximation of creation time.
The estimated total monthly sales for the merchant in USD. How estimated sales are calculated.
A list of the store's categories. Categories represent the stores's industry vertical (e.g., "/Apparel/" or "/Beauty & Fitness/Face & Body Care")
A text description of the store. Generally used to describe the goods and services provided by the merchant.
Social Media and Contact Information
A list of contact information available for the store. This includes email addresses, phone numbers and social media accounts. For social media accounts, we also track the number of followers along with a follower count history so that you can see if a brand is growing or shrinking in popularity.
A list of apps installed on the store (e.g., "Privy"). Apps are installed through the e-commerce platform's App Store. As a result, we also display information about the app (e.g., # of reviews and average rating).
A list of third-party technologies installed on the store (e.g., "Google Analytics"). Third-party technologies are like apps, but are not installed through the e-commerce platform's App Store.
The Alexa rank of the store's top-level domain.

The name of the theme running on the store if any. (e.g., "empire")
The vendor of the theme running on the store if any. (e.g., "Pixel Union")
The version of the theme running on the store if any. (e.g., "2.4")
The style of the theme running on the store if any. (e.g., "Industrial")
Theme Change Log
A timestamped log of changes to the store's theme.
The number of different products sold by the store (ie. the number of distinct products in the merchant's catalog). For Shopify stores, the count is precise. For all other stores, the count is an estimate based on the number of pages on the website.
Average Product Price
The average price of products sold on the store (in the store's currency).
The number of distinct vendors of products sold on the store.
A list of features enabled on the store. Possible values:
- PayPal (only tracked for Shopify stores)
- Apple Pay (only tracked for Shopify stores)
- Shopify Pay (only tracked for Shopify stores)
- Google Pay (only tracked for Shopify stores)
- Amazon Pay (only tracked for Shopify stores)
- Has Tracking or Returns Page
