How can I get notified when a store installs or uninstalls an app?

Monitoring installs and uninstalls of an app or technology is a common use case. Follow these steps to enable notifications on these conditions.

• Run a search to detect installs of the app or technology that you're interested in. In this example, we'll search for stores that have installed the Product Reviews Shopify app.

• If you're interested in monitoring installs of this app, add a filter for the installation date. In the screenshot below, we're only looking at stores that have installed the app since July 1st, 2021.

• If you're interested in monitoring uninstalls of this app, add a filter for the uninstallation date. In the screenshot below, we're only looking at stores that have removed the app since July 2nd, 2021.

• Now, save the search to a List by clicking the star icon at the top of the search filters. You'll be asked to provide a name for the new List. See the documentation on Lists for more information.

• Once you've created the List, click the Create Workflow button to enable email or webhook notifications for new stores that match the search.
