Segment Stores by App Installation Date

We've added the ability to segment stores by the date that the store installed a specific app. Start by filtering stores on a single installed app. Filter stores that have a specific app installed When you do this, a new column is added to the search results showing the date at which each store installed the app. App installed date in search results You also now have the option of sorting the search results by app installation date.

App Insights and Search

We've just added a few new features that give you more insight into the Shopify app ecosystem. The image below shows details for an app that was recently added to the Shopify App Store. App Details To access this information, you'll need to navigate to the Apps page through the menu. Menu Then click on any app to see details. You can also search for an app or use our filters to segment apps across the following dimensions: Shopify App Store category Created (the date at which the app was published in the App Store) App Vendor App Status App search filter on weekly creation date.

Social Media Followers

An active social media presence can have a large impact on the success of online stores. Many of the most popular stores have social media accounts with huge number of followers. We've updated our store ranking algorithm to include social media follower and post counts. This means that stores linked to popular and active social media accounts get a boost in our index. As part of this work, we've added the number of followers on social media accounts to the store details.

Products Sold

We're now tracking the number of products sold at each Shopify store. This can be useful in a number of scenarios. For instance, if you're a theme vendor and you've recently created a theme for merchants with a large product catalog, then it can be invaluable to segment stores by the number of products sold. App Install Dates

It can be helpful to know when a store installs a specific app. The install date is now shown on the Apps tab, right under the app description. App install date. Since we only started collecting this data recently (over the last 6 months), we don't know the exact date for apps installed in the past. In cases where we don't know the exact date, we'll show an approximation along with wording that indicates that we're uncertain about the exact date.

Introducing Categories

Industry categorization has been one of the most common feature requests since we launched Store Leads. Today, we're launching Categories which groups stores based on the products they sell. Our category list is hierarchical and consists of almost 400 separate categories. Here's our new Category filter showing a subset of our top-level categories. Category filter. Notifications

Have you ever wanted to know exactly when new data is added to Store Leads? To save you from checking manually, we've added notifications to let you know when new data is available. You can configure an email notification which, as you can probably guess, sends an email immediately after new data is added to Store Leads. You can also be notified by webhook which is likely to be of interest to developers who have integrated with the Store Leads API.

Collapsible Filters

As we've added more and more segmentation options to Store Leads, our UI has become more and more crowded. We now have so many segmentation options that finding the filter you're looking for can take a bit of scrolling. To help with these issues, we've added the ability to collapse and expand filters. The image below shows an expanded filter, which means that all filter values are visible.

Language Filter

Have you ever wanted to filter stores by language? Our new Language Filter allows you to do just that. Language filter. Just click on any language in the filter and the search results will include only stores with content in the selected language. As with all of our filters, the Language filter can also be used in the Store Leads API. Note that the Language Filter is only available on paid plans.

Keyboard Shortcuts

If you're like us and you spend a lot of time working in the Store Leads web interface, then you'll be happy to learn that we've added keyboard shortcuts to save you time. Instead of using the mouse for common navigation operations, you can now use your keyboard to navigate. The follow shortcuts are available: Keyboard shortcuts help screen.
