Detailed App Breakdowns

Breakdowns on app detail pages give you insight into an app's install rate across certain dimension, like category, country and co-installed apps. While this was useful information, if you wanted to derive more advanced insight, like the lift provided by the app across values in the dimension, then you'd need to export all app data and run your own calculations. We've updated our app detailed page to provide this information directly.

Automatic Tags

We are now automatically labeling (or tagging) stores in our database if the store is interesting for some reason. For instance, a store that is rapidly growing Instagram followers will be tagged as "Trending on Instagram". Here are the tags we support: Dropshipper: The store is using a dropshipping app. Print on Demand: The store is using a print-on-demand app. Trending on Facebook: The store has at least 5,000 Facebook followers and at least 5% growth over the last 30 days.

TikTok

Ecommerce stores have started to use TikTok, the latest social media craze, to engage with their customers. Adoption is still relatively low but growing quickly. We've just added TikTok accounts for over 2,000 stores in our database. Use the Social Media and Contact Info search filter to refine the list of domains to include only domains with accounts on specific social media networks. Social media and contact info filter.

Improved Social Network Follower Data

Filtering stores on the number of social network followers is one of our most popular features. But simply knowing the number of followers a store has isn't always enough. Often, you'll want to find stores that are growing their follower count quickly. To address this use case, we've added a history of follower counts for each of the store's social network to the domain details. Follower count history.

Advanced search preserves filters

Advanced Search can be a little tricky to use but it is only option if you want to run complex searches (like filtering out stores running a specific app). Often, you'll start by running a Basic Search and later realize that you need to switch to Advanced Search to get the best results. In doing so, you have to enter the search parameters again because switching to Advanced Search would result in a brand new search.

Segment Stores by Pricing Plan Change Date

Let's say that you want to find all Shopify stores that have switch to Shopify Plus since a specific date. To support this use case, we've added a filter that allows you to find stores based on the last date that they changed pricing plans. To do this, switch to Advanced Search and add the filters from the screenshot below. Last Plan Change filter. Then click the Execute Search button to see all stores that have switched to Shopify Plus since the provided date.

We've just added support for stores running on 5 new ecommerce platforms to the Store Leads database. Wix is a popular website builder that powers a decent number of ecommerce stores. Squarespace is another popular website builder that also support ecommerce. Webflow is a modern website builder with ecommerce support. ExpandCart is a dedicated ecommerce platform that is popular is Arab countries.

Estimating Products Sold

For Shopify stores, we track the number of products that each store sells. But for stores using other ecommerce platforms, we are unable to track the exact number of products sold. This is really useful information so we've added an estimate of the number of products sold for non-Shopify stores. Estimates are powered by algorithm that looks at the number of web pages on each store. We trained a model which compares page counts to known product counts from Shopify.
