Improved CRM Duplicate Detection
It's important to avoid duplicate records in your CRM otherwise you'll end up with redundant, and possibly conflicting, information making it harder for your team to find the information that they're looking for.
Some merchants present an interesting challenge for duplicate detection since they operate multiple domains. Multiple domains are often used when a merchant has regional, or country-specific, stores. For instance, it's not uncommon for a merchant to operate domains like www.merchant.com, merchant.co.uk and au.merchant.com. Each of these domains often offers a distinct set of products, in a different currency, etc. so they are not duplicates in the strict sense.
Some Store Leads customers want each of those merchant domains to appear as separate entities in their CRM. Other customers want them to be grouped together into a single record. Store Leads has always had an option to group merchants together based on domain name but the previous implementation didn't catch all edge cases resulting in some duplicates in the CRM. This feature has been reworked and is now correctly grouping all merchant domains together.
To enable the feature, go to the Integration page and ensure that the following option is checked.
