Hey Everyone,
Sometimes when you're building a list, you may want to exclude/include another list from that list.
For example, say you have a list of eCommerce sites which you've previously reached out to, or eCommerce sites that are existing users of your product/service.
In Store Leads, you can upload that list (as a CSV file), and then filter the stores on the list from searches in the Dashboard. Please see more on this here.
You can also save a search in Store Leads to then exclude/include it from another list. This has a couple use cases:
- Efficiency: Say you're a salesperson whose territory is on the East coast of the U.S., instead of repeatedly typing in "New York", "New Jersey", "Maryland", "Virginia", etc., as a 'State' filter in each report you build. You could first build a list of all eCommerce sites that are in East Coast states, save that list in Store Leads and name it something like "eCommerce sites on the East coast", and then every time you build a new list in Store Leads, you can choose to include that previously saved list, as an additional filter (using the "Lists" filter) rather than typing in each state’s name again.
- Logic: Sometimes you want to build a very specific list, for example, "all sites that have either 100,000 Instagram followers or 100,000 TikTok followers. If you were to add both the Instagram Followers and TikTok followers filters together in the same report, that would not solve the problem as you would be saying “find all sites that have over 100K Instagram Followers and 100K TikTok followers”. To solve this, you could first build a list of all sites that have over 100K Instagram followers, save it, then build another list of all sites that have over 100K TikTok followers, save it, and then reference both lists together in a third list, using the or operation in the lists filter.
As always, please let us know if you need help setting this up or if you have any feedback or ideas for the platform!
Talk with you next week,
